Mt. Si Remodel
The main goal on this project was to increase the views of Mt. Si from the back of their home. The only way previously was to walk up close to the window. Before/After shots at the end of the gallery

Terrene Homes
These are several homes that Neil designed while working at Terrene Homes (Terrenehomes.com)

Hardly looks like the same house! We did have some setback constraints to work with by the garage. The custom trellis helps break up the vertical plane of the garage/bdrm wall.

The client wanted two extra bedrooms over the existing garage, extend the den and bedroom above and create more of a focal point entry.

Redmond Addition
The main objective for this remodel was to add (2) bedrooms above the garage, extend garage forward, update the entry and change the style to Northwest Craftsman.

The curved section was intended to be a spiral stair up to a second view deck. The client thought the spiral would be difficult to navigate while entertaining.

Kirkland Addition
Scope of work:
Add master bedroom suite over existing detached garage and ADU, update and rearrange main living space, and upate exterior to a more modern look.

After investigating several options, the best plan was to flop the kitchen and dining room. This allowed us to open up the floor plan with site lines to the backyard, get the island in and also have the kitchen sink toward the front to capture the great morning sunlight.

The existing kitchen, though very nice, was cramped and dark. The homeowner entertains often and wanted an open kitchen with an island.
